Performing Normal and Hard Reset on

LG KS20



Normal (Soft) Reset:

A normal reset is sometimes called a soft reset. A normal reset stops all running applications but does not erase any programs or saved data.

To perform a soft reset:
  1. Re-attach the battery and press the POWER button on the right side of your device.
  2. The device restarts and displays the Today screen.

Hard (Full) Reset:

Warning:
Performing a full reset, your LG Smartphone returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM.
 
To perform a factory (hard) reset:
  • Press and hold both buttons (Send+volume down) shown enclosed by circles in the picture below. 
  • Keep these keys pressed, and at the same time, press the POWER button on the right side of your device. And hold both buttons for about 10 seconds.
