How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy S
Performing Hard Reset on Samsung Galaxy S
Normal (Soft) Reset:
To restart your device:
- Press and hold the Power Key
for 8-10 seconds.
Hard (Full) Reset:
Warning:
Perform a full reset, your Samsung Galaxy S returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM (Read Only Memory) including Contacts, Messages etc..
Reset Via Settings:
In Idle mode open the application list and select Settings -> Privacy -> Factory data reset -> Reset phone -> Erase everything.
