In this tutorial you will learn how to apply a hard reset Orange Yumo cell, also known as the Huawei Ascend G740. This hard reset can be applied using two different methods and ensere you step by step how to apply them.

Note: The two methods of resetting erase the contents of your device, so you better you perform a full backup of your important data in the internal memory and if you have entered an external memory, remove it.

The application of hard reset served for many occasions, such as when we were unable to access the menu of our cell because we forget the security pattern or just try many times to enter the pattern and your phone is locked. Also, many times our device can be put slow and at times like this, the only possible solution is to apply a hard reset. The hard reset does is leave our device in a state with the factory settings, eliminating all that slows our mobile application and also removes any security pattern that we have implemented.

Reset with Phone Setting:

This method is applied in case our cell is placed somewhat slow due to a conflict that is causing some application in the system of our device. If we notice that our cell works somewhat slow or lock many times, then we apply these simple steps to leave it to the factory settings:

We entered Applications ˃ ˃ select Settings section ˃ All ˃ Reset Factory Data Reset ˃ We make sure you have checked the option Clear internal storage and click Reset phone Reset Phone ˃ Again

Device will reboot and once it is turned on, and will have finished applying the hard reset.

Reset with Phone Buttons:

  • We turn off our cell Orange Yumo and we remove the battery for about 15 seconds. Then put it back.
  • Now, hold tight buttons Volume Up and Power until the operator logo appears Orange.
  • The Reset menu will appear and the Volume Down button, go down to the Wipe Data / Factory Reset option and select with Power.
  • A small list appears and select the option Yes - Delete all user data.
  • Our device will reboot and have a new list. In this list we choose the first option Reboot System Now and pressed Power.
