How to Reset Acer CloudMobile

Performing Hard Reset on
Acer CloudMobile



Hard (Full) Reset:

It may be necessary to perform a reset if your smartphone fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.


Warning: 
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your phone and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your smartphone to an operational state.


Reset Via Phone Setting:
  1. Press the Menu Key from the Home Screen and touch "Settings"
  2. Tap #Privacy# then "Factory data reset".
  3. Click "Reset phone" and finally "Erase everything" to format your phone. 

Reset Via Phone Buttons:

 
Start with the phone off. Press and hold the Volume down and Power buttons simultaneously.
  1. The phone will start and the Acer logo will show up. Release the buttons and hold the Volume Up button.
  2. The phone will vibrate in acknowledgement and open into Recovery Mode.
  3. Use the Volume buttons to select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
  4. Confirm your choice, let the phone initialize and wait a few minutes.
  5. Select Reboot when the phone prompts you to, and let it restart.
