How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Advance I9070

Performing Factory Reset on Samsung Galaxy Advance I9070

Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:

It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.

Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.

Important Instructions:

  • If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
  • As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
  • Make sure you have the device charged up to 70%.
 Hard Reset from Phone Buttons:

  • Turn off the device
  • Press and hold the buttons "Volume Up" + "Home" + Power " until the typical logo of Samsung Galaxy appears.
  • In few seconds and reset menu appears.
  • Within the Reset menu down the Volume button less and we are in the "Wipe data / Factory reset" and pressed to confirm Power.
  • On the next screen down to the "Yes - Delete all user data" option and pressed Power to confirm.
  • The hard reset will start, be patient and wait a few seconds.
  • On completion we will reset the Reset menu and select the "Reboot System Now" option and pressed Power to confirm.
And that was it. This way I will apply the method to hard reset my Samsung I9070 Advance Galaxy that had been blocked because you enter the security pattern over 5 times wrongly.
