How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505
Performing Factory Reset on Samsung Galaxy
S4 I9505
Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:
It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.
Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
Important Instructions:
- If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
- As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
- Make sure you have the device charged up to 70%.
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold the buttons "Volume Up" + "Home" and "Power" until the device turns on the Reset menu is loaded.
- Then reset the menu down the Volume button least until the "Wipe data / Factory reset" and press Power to confirm.
- On the next screen down to the "Yes - Delete all user data" option and pressed Power to confirm.
- When you finish the reset process we reset the menu and select the "Reboot System Now" option and press Power to confirm.
With this last step, the device will reboot and you will have finished applying the method reset, so easy. If you served the tutorial or have any questions, leave me a little comment at the end of the post and I will answer faster than you can.
