How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562

Performing Factory Reset on Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562

Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:

It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.

Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.

Important Instructions:

  • If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
  • As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
  • Make sure you have the device charged up to 70%.
 Hard Reset from Phone Buttons:

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the buttons "Up and Down the Volume" + "Home" + "Power" at the same time until the Samsung logo appears.
  3. The Reset menu will appear and, press Volume Down button until the "Wipe data / Factory reset" and pressed Power to confirm.
  4. On the next screen select "Yes - Delete all user data" option and pressed Power to confirm.
  5. The hard reset process will start and we should see a message like this "Wiping Data / Format Data".
  6. Once you finish the process of hard reset, the Reset menu appears again and we are in the "Reboot System Now" option and pressed Power to confirm.
  7. By doing this last step the device will reboot and you will have finished applying the method of release.
