How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000

Performing Hard Reset on Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000



Normal (Soft) Reset:

To restart your device:
  • Press and hold the Power Button for 10-15 seconds. 




Hard (Full) Reset:

Warning:
Perform a full reset, your Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM (Read Only Memory) including Contacts, Messages etc..
 
Note: If you reset your device to the factory defaults with SD card encryption setting enabled, the device will not be able to read your encrypted files. Disable this setting before resetting the device.
 
Via Settings:
  • Open your Settings folder and tap on Privacy.
  • Open the Factory Data Reset option menu and tap on Reset Phone.
  • Tap on Erase Everything and let the phone initialize and reset.
Via Phone Buttons:

  • With the phone off, press and hold the Volume Up key, the Power key, and the Menu/Home key.
  • The phone will boot into Recovery Mode. Select Factory Data Reset.
  • Confirm Wipe Data/Factory Reset and let the phone initialize and reset itself.
Alternatively:
  • On the keypad enter *2767*3855# 
  • Default phone lock code is "00000000" (eight time 0)
