How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Note2 GT-N7100

Performing Hard Reset on Samsung Galaxy Note2 GT-N7100




Normal (Soft) Reset:

To restart your device:
  • Press and hold the Power Button for 10-20 seconds. The device will power down.
  • Press the Power Button until the device turns back on.



Hard (Full) Reset:

Warning:
Perform a full reset, your Samsung Galaxy Note2 GT-N7100 returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM (Read Only Memory) including Contacts, Messages etc..
 
Note: If you reset your device to the factory defaults with SD card encryption setting enabled, the device will not be able to read your encrypted files. Disable this setting before resetting the device.
 
Via Settings:
  • In Idle Mode open the application list.
  • Choose Settings then Privacy.
  • From here choose Factory Data Reset then Reset Devices and finally Delete All.
Alternatively:
  • On the keypad enter *2767*3855# 
  • Default phone lock code is "00000000" (eight time 0)
