How to Hard Reset Nokia Lumia 900
Performing Factory Reset on Nokia Lumia 900
Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:
It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.
Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
Instructions:
Hard Reset Via Phone Settings:
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down to the About listing and tap on it.
- At the bottom of the screen (you may have to scroll) you'll see a button titled "Reset Your Phone." Tap on it.
- Confirm, twice, you are sure you want to reset your device.
Hard Reset Via Phone Buttons:
- Turn off your Nokia Lumia 900
- Press and hold the following buttons Camera + Volume down + Power until your phone vibrates, then release only the Power key and keep pressing the Camera + Volume down for a couple of seconds 4-5s.
