How to Hard Reset Motorola Droid


Performing Hard Reset on Motorola Droid


Normal (Soft) Reset:

A normal reset stops all running applications but does not erase any programs or saved data.
Caution be sure to save any unsaved data before performing a normal reset since a normal reset erases all unsaved data.


If Motorola Motorola Droid the keys and the screen does not respond simply take out the battery and put it back and turn on the power

or if the buttons work

Left Shift + right Alt + Delete to reboot the Motorola Milestone.

Hard (Full) Reset:

Warning:
Perform a full reset, your Samsung Omnia W returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM (Read Only Memory) including Contacts, Messages etc..
 
Note: If you reset your device to the factory defaults with SD card encryption setting enabled, the device will not be able to read your encrypted files. Disable this setting before resetting the device.

Note: It is recommended you back up all data you want to keep before continuing.

Hard Reset Via Setting:
  •  Motorola Milestone Hard reset Menu > Settings> Privacy > Factory data reset > Reset phone.




Hard Reset Phone Buttons:
  • Turn off the Motorola droid.
  • Press the X button on the keypad + the power button, then release them.


When you see the exclamation mark press the volume up + camera button. One Android System Recovery menu comes up.
A pad go to data / factory reset itself and the D-Pad was hit, and then choose Yes.
