How to Hard Reset LG L5 (E610)

Performing Factory Reset on LG L5 (E610)

Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:

It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.

Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.

Important Instructions:

  • If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
  • As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
  • Make sure you have the device charged up to 70%.
Hard Reset Via Phone Settings:

  1. Go to System Settings
  2. Enter in Backup and restart option.
  3. Click on Factory data reset, then Restart phone.
  4. Accept clear all.
  5. Once you press the OK button on your device will reboot and you'll be done with the hard reset process.

Hard Reset Via Phone Buttons:

  1. Remove and put the battery.
  2. With the phone turned off press the Power and Volume down at same time.
  3. At the time that the three lights on, press the Home button, release the Power button and hold down the two buttons down the volume and Home until the LG logo on the screen.
  4. Once the LG logo is displayed expect to finish loading and we will have completed the process of resetting.
