How to Hard Reset Kyocera Milano

Performing Factory Reset on Kyocera Milano




Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:

It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.

Warning: 
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.

Hard Reset Via Phone Buttons: 

  1. With the handset turned off, press and hold the Volume Down key. You can pull and then reinsert the battery if the phone is having trouble powering off.
  2. While holding the Volume Down key, press and hold the Power key.
  3. Release both keys when the triangle appears.
  4. Press the Home key.
  5. Press the Volume Down key to scroll to wipe data/factory reset.
  6. With wipe data/factory reset highlighted, press the Power key.
  7. Press the Volume Down key to scroll to Yes—delete all user data.
  8. With Yes—delete all user data highlighted, press the Enter key.
  9. Once the wipe is complete, press the Enter key to select reboot system now.
  10. The factory reset is now complete.
