Performing Factory Reset ACER Liquid Jade Z
Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:
It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.
Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
Important Instructions:
- If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
- As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
Hard Reset Via Settings:
- Turn your mobile On.
- From the home screen open Menu and choose Settings.
- Select Backup&Reset and tap Factory data reset.
- Choose Reset device and select Erase everything.
Hard Reset Via Mobile Keys:
- Turn Off your device.
- press and hold together Volume Down + Power button for few seconds.
- Releas only the Volume Down when you feel vibrate and press Volume Up key.
- Relese another key when the Boot menu appears.
- select option Recovery, by using Volume Up and Volume Down to confirm.
- Ppress the Power button to enter Recovery Mode while android icon appeared.
- Press Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset", and then press the Power button to confirm.
- Select "Yes--delete all user data" using Volume buttons and choose with Power button.
- select "reboot system now" to restart the mobile.
