How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Y S5360

Performing Hard Reset on Samsung Galaxy Y S5360


Normal (Soft) Reset:


To restart your device:
  • Press and hold the Power key for 8-10 seconds.
  • The device will reboot automatically.


Hard (Full) Reset:

Warning:
Perform a full reset, your device will returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM (Read Only Memory) including Contacts, Messages etc..
 

Note: If the tablet is responsive and can synchronize files save any open files and back up all necessary data to a computer.

Reset Via Settings:
  1. From a Home screen, press the Menu Button then Settings and then Privacy.
  2. Touch Factory data reset.
  3. Finally touch Reset Phone then Erase everything to reset the device.
 Reset Via Buttons:
  • Turn off the phone.
  • Press and hold the Power/Lock Button, Home Button and Volume Up Button at the same time.
  • When the menu appears, press the Volume Up Button to select wipe data / factory reset and press the Power Button to confirm.
  • Follow the rest of the instructions to finish the hard reset.
Alternatively:
  • Dial *2767*3855# on the keypad.
